The 2024 Bastor-Lamontagne was picked in two tries between September 18 and October 24. This vintage has much more Sémillon in the blend due to mildew in the vineyard. It has an endearing sense of purity on the nose that's a little discreet at first but then opens with saffron-infused citrus fruit, peach and wild honey scents. The palate is fresh, vibrant and harmonious on the entry. It has modest weight, but I appreciate the tension and freshness that are unavoidable on the finish. It has 125g/L of residual sugar. The 2024 is worth seeking out.

Honeyed, white peaches, pineapples, vanilla, and apricots create the core of the wine here. Fresh, vibrant, sweet, and with a spicy note that rides on top of its vanilla, and honeyed, yellow, tropical fruits, you can enjoy this on release and for about 15 years with pleasure.

A syrupy and fruity Sauternes with baked peaches, apricot jam and flowers. Medium-bodied with a dense core of unctuous fruit.
