The 1987 Cabernet Sauvignon Dedication Series comes from the Mercer Ranch, Seven Hills and Charbonneau vineyards. 1987 was a warm vintage in Washington that produced highly concentrated wines. Matured for 28 months in new French oak, it has a deep garnet color and aromas of blackcurrant, green pepper, dried roses, mushrooms and cigar box. The medium-bodied palate is fully mature with savory flavors. Although its tannins are gently rustic, its fresh acidity is still integrated, and it has a long, herbal finish. 804 cases were made.
