Score 89/100 · Drink 2012-2018, Robert Parker, Jun 2012

The deep ruby/purple-tinged 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate exhibits dense, briery, mountain-styled berry fruit intermixed with loamy soil, underbrush, cedar and vanilla notes. Medium to full-bodied with impressive purity, good texture and balance, and light tannins in the finish, it appears to have more stuffing and nuances than the Merlot. Consume it over the next 5-6 years. Tel. (707) 963-1980; Fax (707) 963-3410
