(50% new French oak): Deep, vivid red. Displays vibrant, spice-accented red berry, cola and floral pastille aromas that show very good clarity and a suggestion of smoky minerality. Sweet, pliant and concentrated, offers ripe raspberry and cherry flavors that are enlivened by a kick of juicy acidity. Rich but energetic, delivering strong, fruity lift on a long, sappy and gently tannic finish.

One of the more reserved and closed wines in the lineup, the 2015 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (aged 10 months in 50% new French oak) has a darker slant to it fruit (blackberries, red currants) as well as plenty of forest floor, earth and spice aromas and flavors. It's beautifully concentrated, has good acidity, and will benefit from a year or two in bottle, and keep for a decade.
