2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede Vineyard

(14.2% alcohol): Good medium ruby. Dark berries and a floral element on the nose, along with hints of herbs and cassis leaf. Plusher and denser in texture than the Tomahawk Vineyard bottling but still with some faintly green elements. A step up in texture and depth, with a note of chocolatey oak contributing to the impression of sweetness. More chewy extract here as well. Finishes with substantial but nicely integrated dusty tannins.
