What a surprise from a winery better known for its Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel! Frog's Leap's 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious, up-front, forward, sexy Cabernet that will win many admirers. This dark ruby/purple-colored, medium-bodied wine offers a hedonistic, sweet, toasty, blackcurrant-scented nose, ripe, round, low acid, delicious, ripe berry flavors, excellent to outstanding depth, sweet tannin, and a corpulent, lush finish. Although not subtle, it is a delicious, forward Cabernet Sauvignon that should drink well for a decade. (Tasted in barrel.) Tel. (707) 963-4704
