Tasting notes
A deep ruby color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley opens to notes of cherry cordial, dark chocolate, baking spice, and forest earth. The palate is elegant and refined, with silky tannins, even acidity, and a more red-fruited feel coming through, and it has nicely defined length and a focused finish. It’s a very appealing appellation wine to drink over the coming 5-6 years.

Matured for 15 months in 42% new French oak, the 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley has a well of aromas: raspberry and blackberry are accented by wafts of licorice, Angostura bitters and floral potpourri. The light-bodied palate is soft and bright with concentrated, nuanced flavors and a very long, spicy finish. 1,074 cases produced.
