Score 87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2006
Bright red-ruby. Complex nose combines plum, cherry, raspberry, chocolate, flowers and loam. Supple and juicy in the mouth, with rather cool flavors of cherry, chocolate and herbs. Offers moderate flesh and depth. Finishes with dusty, slightly dry tannins and hints of licorice and menthol.

An elegant, soft, velvety example of Paloma, with a deep ruby/purple-tinged color, attractive notes of caramel, mocha, sweet cherry and berry fruit, this 2003 Merlot is round and medium-bodied with no hard edges. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. Tel. and Fax (707) 963-7504
