Lastly, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvee L is one big, badass Napa Valley Cabernet that brings an incredible amount of cassis and currant-like fruit as well as notes of chocolate, smoked tobacco, and scorched earth. Full-bodied on the palate, it’s slightly closed and tight, but nevertheless has good mid-palate density and beautiful tannins. Hide bottles for 2-4 years, and it should deliver the goods over the coming 15 years or more.
