The 2016 Chardonnay (Sparkling) Brosseau Vineyard is another compelling wine in this range. Ginger, spice, passionfruit and mineral notes all race out of the glass. The combination of a warm site and limestone/granite soils yields a marvelously complex, dynamic wine endowed with bracing energy and tons of character. Like all the wines here, the Brosseau opens beautifully with air. Dosage was 2 grams per liter.
