Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,612 g. Tends to be dominated by hillside fruit apparently. Liquorice notes but still very sweet. Dry finish and more obvious tannins than the Kathryn Hall bottling. (JR)

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Jack's Masterpiece is also a blend of sites, yet it generally comes more from hillside vineyards. It's similarly deep purple-hued, with a more focused, elegant, structured style. Black and blue fruits, crushed stone, liquid violets, and new leather are just some of its nuances, and it's concentrated and full-bodied, with ripe, building tannins and a great finish.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Jack's Masterpiece is a dense, powerful wine. Inky blue/purplish fruit, cloves, new leather, lavender, licorice and chocolate fill out the layers. I would be tempted to cellar this for a year or two, as the tannins are quite potent at this stage. Vineyard sites are Sacrashe, Beller, Dellar-Freidkin and Sage Ridge.
