Tasting notes
The NV Extra-Brut L'Accomplie is a blend of five barrels, 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from the lower slopes of Mont Benoit, all 2023 vintage. Two presses were used; the first was 100% Pinot Noir, the second was a Pinot Noir/Chardonnay co-ferment. Considering the year, it's a remarkable wine. Chalky and floral notes open first. Time in the glass brings out the wine's tension, energy and class. It will surely be one of the top wines of the year. Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 2026.

Based on the 2019 vintage, with reserve wines from 2018, the latest rendition of Savart's NV Extra Brut Premier Cru L'Accomplie opens in the glass with notions of pear, toasted almonds, dried white flowers, clear honey and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, with a vibrant core of fruit, chalky structure and a mouthwatering finish, it's showing well.
Savart's NV L'Accomplie is rich, ample and creamy, with striking textural depth and resonance. The breadth of the Pinot that makes up 80% of the blend comes through loud and clear. Dried pear, brioche, baked apple, cherry pit and wild flowers meld into the fleshy, seductive finish. The current release is 50% 2013 and 50% 2012/2011 in equal parts. This bottle was disgorged in October 2015. Dosage is 5 grams per liter.
80% Pinot Noir in oak. Exciting, tense, and very very nervy. A bit severe. (JR)
