The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a super-classic Pride wine. Rich, powerful and voluptuous, the 2014 offers notable density in a forward, fruity style that can be enjoyed young. Even so, the 2014 has more than enough structure to develop positively for at least a handful of years. Black cherry, plum, mocha, spice and new leather infuse this dark, voluptuous Cabernet. The sensation of stress through drought is evident, but not overpowering.

A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon offers lots black cherry and currant fruit as well as more graphite, scorched earth, and dried flower notes. It’s medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated, pure and polished, with plenty of charm. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.
A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, with 59% coming from Napa and 41% from Sonoma, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is very deep garnet-purple colored and is scented of crushed black currants, black cherries and black raspberries with touches of Mediterranean herbs, damp soil and unsmoked cigars. Medium-bodied, finely crafted, vibrant and with bags of poise, it is a wine that delivers quiet intensity while leaving a lasting impression. 5,885 cases were made.
