2017 Lourens Family Lindi Carien

The 2017 Linda Carien is a white blend matured 95% in used oak barrels with respect to the Verdelho, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Chenin Blanc, while the Clairette Blanche was matured in amphora. The wine has an attractive bouquet of yellow fruit, a touch of melted wax and a light marine influence. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, a touch of dried honey and grapefruit and light spicy notes toward the long finish. Very fine.
