Tasting notes
The 2018 Vougeot 1er Cru Les Cras returns to the range after replanting in 2013, offering up aromas of cherries, spices, dried herbs and toasty new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, lively and youthfully firm, with a crunchy core of fruit and chalky tannins.

The 2018 Vougeot Les Cras 1er Cru marks the return of this cuvée, which was blended into the Terre de Famille last year. It has an intriguing bouquet, mainly red fruit with potpourri, strawberry pastille and light orange blossom aromas. The medium-bodied palate offers supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Slightly saline in the mouth but missing some weight and density on the back palate.
