From a warmer, earlier site that's not far from La Landonne (just under Leyat), the 2022 Côte Rôtie Côte Bodin was fully destemmed and is aging in used demi-muids. Incredibly exotic aromatics of sweet red berries, rose petals, peony, mint, and tropical flowers emerge from the glass. It's medium to full-bodied, pure, and graceful on the palate, with supple tannins, solid mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. It reminds me of the Lancement release from Ogier. Give bottles 4-5 years and drink over the following two decades. Drink 2030-2051.

Harvested early on the 2nd of September with fully destemmed grapes, the enticingly floral 2022 Côte-Rôtie Côte Bodin first reveals pronounced orange blossom, crushed violets, dried rose petal and finely tuned spicy tones. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and fresh, the 2022 is a dashing Côte Bodin, funneling the palate toward the close with precision and finesse on the highly elegant finish.

The 2022 Cote Rotie Cote Bodin, entirely destemmed and aged in barrels, offers a unique and exquisitely perfumed bouquet that combines violets, iris, lychee and rose with sumptuous notes of mulberries. This full-bodied, layered and seamless wine is pure and crystalline, featuring a deep core of rich, vibrant and concentrated fruit. Precise, filigreed tannins frame the wine, leading to a refined, ethereal and seemingly endless finish. Among the most distinctive offerings at this address, this wine embodies the Côte Blonde style despite being produced in the Côte Brune sector, marking it as one of my favorites.
