The juicy, lively 2014 Crozes Hermitage has lots of black raspberry, violets and spring flower notes in its medium-bodied, rounded, nicely textured and fruit-forward style. It's a solid wine to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

Quite a lot of butter on the nose and palate which makes this quite a clumsy taste. Lacks purity. (RH)

Surprisingly, the 2014 Crozes Hermitage is superior to the 2013. Deeper in color, with a touch of minerality in its peppery herbs and assorted darker fruits, it’s medium-bodied, charming and forward, with an easy drinking feel that’s ideal for consuming over the coming 3-4 years.
