Score 88/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2020
From a great vineyard in Rutherford, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli Vineyard (there's 3% Merlot in the blend) has a deep purple color as well as notes of black cherries, red currants, toasted spice, chocolate, and dried earth. It's medium-bodied, has some classic 2017 chewy tannins, good fruit, and plenty to like. I would drink it over the coming decade.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli Vineyard contains 3% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose gives baked berries, prunes, earth and tar with charcoal and herbs hints. The palate is full-bodied, firm, chewy, hollow and earthy.
