Score 90/100 · Drink 2015-2019, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Apr 2015

The entry-level wine here is at Crianza level and it's the 2012 Finca San Martín, a Tempranillo from the vineyards surrounding the winery matured in both (60%) new American and (40%) used French oak barrels for 16 months, during which time it was racked three times. The nose is young and balanced, offering plenty of red and black berries with sweet, aromatic spices. The palate is medium-bodied, has fine tannins and is fluid and easy to drink. It is a great wine for the table. Very good value. 130,000 bottles produced.
