Full ruby. Aromas of raisiny superripeness. Sweet, superconcentrated and high-toned, with a porty flavor of kirsch This boasts huge material but rather extreme ripeness; tastes as much like dry port as wine. Finishes superripe, with a distinct impression of sweetness. Some tasters will love this for its blast of black cherry fruit. But others will prefer their syrahs this side of over the top.
