Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2016

The 2014 Pinot Noir Chestnut Hill Vineyard is a cherry-picked blend from the namesake vineyard matured in 55% new oak. It has a composed bouquet that has much more complexity than the Thea's Vineyard bottling, bestowed with a beautifully defined redcurrant and cranberry aromatic profile that is very detailed. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent red berry fruit, a smear of marmalade and quite a structured finish. I like this - a Pinot Noir with good substance whilst delivering satisfying finesse on the finish.
