Score 89/100 · Jeb Dunnuck

A blend of 100% Grenache that spent 14 months in neutral oak, the 2009 Zaca Mesa Grenache has a Cotes du Rhone like profile of spice-laced black cherries, licorice, and pepper to go with a smooth, supple, medium-bodied palate. Delicious, easy drinking, and a crowd pleaser, it will impress for 3-5 years.
