The 2019 Pinot Noir Frost Ranch just about jumps out of the glass with a ripe, powerful, slightly Burgundian style in its assorted red and black fruits as well as earthy, herbal nuances. These carry to a ripe, concentrated Pinot Noir with building tannins, good acidity, yet suspect overall balance. It certainly has all the right components yet never really comes together, although there's certainly hope that a year in bottle will do it well.
