2019 Dearden Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Giant Inglewood

There are minuscule quantities of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Inglewood, sourced from a Saint Helena vineyard planted to a selection from Grace Family. Aged 26 months in 85% new French oak (a mix of Sylvain and Taransaud), it offers up scents of Ribena, cherries and vanilla. Full-bodied but not that rich or textured, the wine does exhibit a slight hollow on the mid-palate, then delivers a small crescendo of dusty tannins on the lingering finish.
