Score 93/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2015

The 2012 Pinot Noir Roserock Vineyard was picked October 10-14 and matured for 12 months in 34% new oak. It includes around 50% whole-cluster fruit in this vintage. It has a powerful and ebullient bouquet with lashings of pure black cherry and red plum aromas, a hint of hoisin in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a judicious coating of dark chocolate on the entry, very good depth, but with sufficient acidity to keep everything focused on the mint-fresh finish. Allow this three or four years in bottle and you will have yourself a seriously fine Pinot Noir.
