Pale straw. Stony and minerally, almost explosively so. Streamlined lemon fruit. Transparent. Truly distinct and terroir driven. (WS)

The 2021 Etna Bianco Gamma opens with a savory bouquet of crushed green apples, minty herbs and crushed rocks. This is racy and sleek, with saline tones up front and tart orchard fruits that cascade throughout. Hints of sour citrus resonate as the 2021 tapers off long and youthfully tense, leaving a pleasantly bitter sensation and a caking of chalky minerals.
