Tasting notes
The 2013 Sancerre Rosé has an antique pink color and is quite reductive on the nose showing not only delicate red fruit flavors but also some onions. Quite powerful on the mouth-filling palate, the slightly caramelized finish is rather robust and restive and almost drying due to its phenolics. This is a very special character of Rosé, which I wouldn’t serve as an aperitif, but with almost any kind of meat.

Bright orange. Pungent redcurrant and cherry on the nose, with an intense mineral quality adding complexity and focus. Firm, energetic bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors show good concentration, with juicy acidity and chalky minerality adding cut. The floral quality builds with air and lingers on the very persistent, stony finish.
