Score 91/100 · Drink 2013-2018, Robert Parker, Dec 2013

Revealing an opaque blue/purple color, the 2011 Petite Sirah offers notes of acacia flowers intermixed with classic blueberry and black raspberry liqueur characteristics. This blockbuster Petite Sirah should age for three decades or more. It already reveals some charm and burgeoning complexity, which is surprising for a two-year-old Petite Sirah. Those who love this varietal should definitely check it out, but don’t pop a cork for another 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 538-9463
