Score 88/100 · Drink 2015-2016, Robert Parker, Dec 2014

The 2012 Pinot Noir Barrel 16 exhibits cherry cola-like, spice and earthy notes, a medium-bodied mouthfeel, and good depth. It is firmer than some of its siblings, but it takes a backseat to my favorite of this quintet, the Freestone Vineyard Pinot Noir. Nevertheless, the Barrel 16 is very good, and, like all of these offerings, consumers will find them immediately enjoyable. Drink it over the near-term.
