The 2012 Pinot Noir The Kilmore has a straightforward bouquet with brambly red fruit mixed with light sea spray scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, grainy in texture with fleshy raspberry and wild strawberry on the fleshy finish. Fine, if needing a little more persistence.

Vivid ruby. Pungent aromas of dried cherry, black raspberry and musky herbs, with a subtle potpourri nuance building in the glass. Juicy, concentrated and expansive, offering bitter cherry and licorice flavors and a hint of mocha. Supple tannins shape the clinging, smoky finish, which leaves a peppery note behind.
