2008 Four Vines Winery Zinfandel The Biker

Vivid red. Pungent cherry-cola, cracked pepper and spicecake aromas, with a hint of smoky herbs. Then ripe and fleshy in the mouth, with a slightly loose-knit quality to the sappy dark fruit and floral flavors. This rather powerful, velvety wine finishes long, with lingering smokiness and chewy tannins that add shape to the warm fruit flavors.
