(45% syrah, 35% mourvedre and 20% grenache) Deep red. Impressively complex bouquet evokes red and dark berries, musky herbs and flowers and tobacco. Smells remarkably like a southern Rhone wine, and tastes like one, too. Supple raspberry and boysenberry flavors are nicely filled in and offer good depth and grip. Finishes sweet, with very good persistence and an echo of ripe dark berries.
