Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Drink 1997-2006, Robert Parker, Dec 1996

This winery does a fine job with Cabernet Sauvignon. Although the 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon is not as brilliant as the 1992, it tastes as good as most Cabernets costing $10-$15 more a bottle. The wine's deep, dense, ruby/purple color is followed by moderately intense aromas of ripe black fruits with toasty wood notes in the background. Full-bodied, tannic, dense, and chewy, this wine will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring; it should age well for a decade. Proprietor/winemaker Chris Bilbro should receive an award from wine consumers for making such tasty wines while maintaining realistic prices. Tel. and Fax (707) 433-2747
