Tasting notes
Pale, glistening yellow. Aromas of fresh pear and white peach, with orange pith and jasmine nuances in the background. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering pear nectar and citrus zest flavors that deepen and spread out slowly on the back half. Hints of sweet butter and ginger emerge on a long, focused finish that echoes the floral and orange notes. 20% new French oak.

The 2016 Chardonnay Estate is youthfully reticent on the nose, slowly giving up aromas of oyster shell, baker's yeast, toast, smoke and citrus peel with a core of red apple and peach. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly rounded texture and a fresh fruit profile, finishing long, juicy and mineral driven. 275 cases were made.
