Score 91/100 · Drink 2020-2026, Jeb Dunnuck, May 2020

Coming from two sites (Torrey Hill and Placida) in the Russian River Valley, the 2018 Pinot Noir Torrey Hill was destemmed and brought up in 25% new French oak. It has a ripe yet vibrant bouquet of red fruits, spring flowers, spice-box, and a touch of cola to go with a medium-bodied, elegant, beautifully balanced style on the palate. It’s already hard to resist yet is going to evolve for 5-6 years.
