Tasting notes
Very pale yellow. Apple and a hint of exotic fruits on the nose. Ripe and supple but without quite the energy of the Remilly. Very dry white peach and citrus flavors close with a dusty edge. This needs time to express itself but I wanted more life in the mouth.

(recently finished its malo and sulfited two weeks ago) Ripe peach, flowers and spices on the nose. Fatter, sweeter and more exotic than the Perrieres, in a gentle style. Stuffed with ripe, old-viney fruit; almost tropical in character. Very lush and easygoing wine from a relatively small crop of 40 hectoliters per hectare, according to Jacques Montagnon. This will give early pleasure.
About the producer

Volnay’s Domaine de Montille is one of the most historic in the Côte d’Or. Founded in 1730, the property remains family-owned and run, with Etienne de Montille – the ninth generation – at the helm today.
