Tasting notes
There are only two 350-liter barrels of the 2020 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, a terrific wine that wafts from the glass with scents of crisp Anjou pear, citrus zest, white flowers, fresh hazelnuts and nutmeg. Full-bodied, ample and seamless, with an elegantly fleshy core of fruit and a tangy spine of acidity, it concludes with a long, mineral finish.

The 2020 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru comprises of two 350-litre barrels (one new). This has a beautiful bouquet with orange zest, crushed stone and light white flowers scents that gains intensity with aeration. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh, perhaps just needing a little more mineral tension to evolve on the finish. Still, this has impressive length and concentration and it should age supremely well in bottle.
