Score 90/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Jun 2018

From the Anderson Valley in the northern part of California, the 2016 Pinot Noir Blue Jay offers a similar smoky, meaty profile as well as medium-bodied richness, light tannin, and a charming, elegant style on the palate. It has slightly more complexity than the La Brisa release but plays in the same ballpark. This cuvée spent 10 months in 45% new French oak.
