Score 90/100 · Drink 2005-2013, Robert Parker, Feb 2005

The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2002 Zinfandel Atlas Peak (from the Mead Ranch) reveals sweet raspberry, cranberry, and currant notes in addition to crisp acidity, and a savory, medium to full-bodied, lovely personality. It can be drunk now or cellared for 5-8 years. Kudos to Jerry Seps, who began his wine career working for Joel Peterson and Joe Swan, two legendary northern California Zinfandel producers. Tel.
