Tasting notes
Displays extremely primary, spice-accented black/blue fruit aromas that are complemented by deep suggestions of violet and licorice. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry, cassis, dark chocolate and cracked pepper flavors along with subtle game and mineral flourishes. Finishes very long and precise, with repeating dark berry and floral notes and youthfully gripping tannins. (100% whole clusters; no new oak)

The young vine cuvée of the estate is the 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Espiegle, which reveals a saturated purple color as well as a fruit-forward, mulberry, blackberry, and floral-driven style. Drink this medium-bodied, soft, straight-up delicious Crozes any time over the coming 4-5 years.
Succulent, light-fingered and full of black fruit. Long, charred-meat note giving complexity on the length. (RH)
