The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has a pleasant, perfumed bouquet of strawberry and raspberry preserve aromas, developing more black fruit with aeration. The saline palate is well balanced with grippy tannin, fine density and a tobacco-tinged finish. This is a great Village Cru.

In tank and will be bottled in February. Three parcels including Les Crais and, at the edge of Gevrey, En Seuvrey (more clay than Les Crais). Mid cherry red. Sweet and red-fruited and intoxicating on the nose. Floral and has a Chambolle perfume but also a floral quality. Silky and sweet in its tannins, very gentle but with great depth of fruit. Long too.
