2018 Failla Chardonnay Chehalem Mountain Vineyard

The 2018 Chardonnay Chehalem Mountain Vineyard is bright, crisp and nuanced. White flowers, citrus and green orchard fruit are some of the many notes that develop in the glass. While the two Chehalem Pinots in this range are quite ripe, the Chardonnay is much brighter and taut in feel. It needs a year or so in bottle to shed some of the youthful austerity that dominates at this stage.
