Brilliant red. Highly perfumed, spice-tinged black raspberry and cherry aromas are complicated by musky herb, floral and baking spice flourishes. Sweet and energetic on the palate, offering concentrated red and dark berry and rose pastille flavors, along with suggestions of root beer and spicecake. Shows excellent clarity on the finish, which is framed by fine-grained tannins and shows impressive, floral-driven persistence.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir Dubay Vineyard is a bit youthfully reserved, opening to aromas of warm earth, tree bark and lilac over black and blue cherries and berries with a touch of shaved cinnamon. Medium-bodied and black fruited in the mouth with perfume and earth layers, it has a beautiful structure of grainy tannins and lively acidity with a strong streak of minerality carrying the long finish. Consider giving this a year or two in bottle or decant it. 75 cases produced.
