Limpid ruby-red. Cherry pit, blackberry, licorice, black tea and candied violet on the deeply perfumed nose. Dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are energized by building spice and mineral flourishes. Shows a vaguely savory character to go along with its pronounced fruitiness. Finishes very long and youthfully chewy, with dusty tannins and repeating cherry and floral notes. In the past, this vineyard was known as "Olenik."
