Medium red. Red cherry on the nose, along with a saline note. Sweet and fleshy on the palate, with fresh flavors of red fruits, spices and bitter chocolate. Boasts solid backbone but comes across as rather pliant and gentle for the cru. Finishes with dusty but fine tannins and attractive finishing spice.

Deep red. Somewhat high-toned, oaky aromas of bitter cherry, licorice and chocolate. Sweet, suave and quite fine in the mouth, with bitter chocolate and mineral flavors. Very classy Nuits, offering superb intensity without any heaviness. Finishes very long, with firm, tightly grained tannins.
