Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2005
Medium-deep red. Sappy, very ripe aromas of black and red cherry and licorice. Sweet and fruit-driven, with almost a carbonic fruitiness to its fat flavors of cherry, rose petal and sweet oak. Interestingly, the fruit comes from 14 vineyards, but the majority of it is Dijon Clone 115. Finishes fresh and dry, with dusty tannins.
