Score 95/100 · Drink 2019-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2016

The top of the line 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Pierra emerges from a single parcel within the Weitz vineyard. Rich, powerful and voluptuous, the 2013 possesses terrific depth, richness and intensity. This is another 2013 that will drink well with minimal cellaring. New leather, tobacco, menthol and licorice infuse the striking, nuanced finish.

Score 100/100 · Drink 2020-2050, Robert Parker, Dec 2015

Their most expensive wine is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Pierra, which comes from this rocky vineyard in Oakville. Nearly black/purple in color, the wine has a singular quality, profound concentration and compelling notes of blueberries, blackberries, crushed rock, chocolate, a touch of espresso--just a smorgasbord of aromas. This is truly one of the great 2013s and a masterpiece of winemaking and viticulture. The wine should last for 30-50 years and is another legacy wine in what is a remarkable lineup of wines from Turnbull Wine Cellars in 2013. It's approachable now, but I'd wait 4-5 years, if not a decade, and drink it over the following 30 years.
