Score 92/100 · Drink 2019-2039, Robert Parker, Dec 2016
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (450 cases) was aged in two-thirds new French oak for 22 months prior to bottling. Another beauty from this vintage, with notes of melted asphalt, some cedar wood, unsmoked cigar tobacco, blackcurrants, licorice and a touch of toast, it hits the palate with a lovely entry, full-bodied but relatively civilized sweet tannin, outstanding depth and equilibrium, and a long finish with moderate tannins. I do believe it will be better with several years of bottle age, but it should keep nicely for two decades.
