Extremely perfumed with roses, lavender, iron, and blackberries on the nose. Full-bodied, soft and silky with plushness and firmness. Hints of wood. Fermented in puncheons. Fascinating wine. Give it two or three years to resolve itself. Try after 2021.

This is the first time Bryant has bottled the Cabernet Franc separately (it is still yet to be named). Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Franc is scented of redcurrants, kirsch, black cherries and mulberries with pencil shavings and rose hips nuances. The palate is medium to full-bodied with tons of energy, wonderfully sustained in the mid-palate with grainy tannins and a very long perfumed finish with loads of mineral nuances. Only about 500 bottles will be made.
