Made from entirely destemmed Dijon clones planted in 2017, the 2022 Pinot Noir William Hines Vineyard is feral, wild and brilliant on the nose. It introduces a rich, filled-in, earth-tinged palate that seamlessly transitions to a punchy, assertive finish with admirable staying power for such young vines.

The 2022 Pinot Noir William Hines is soft, open-knit and very easy to like. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, cedar, tobacco and dried flowers all grace this perfumed, tasty Pinot. It would be great to see more mid-palate density here. That should come in time as the vineyards get older.
